Blue Christmas in the Dining Room

Today, I'm sharing my Christmas dining room.

I'm using my drop cloth table cloth as a base, and a piece of toile remnant from the clearance bin at Wal Mart ($2.00) as a runner.

For the centerpiece, I used my white cake stand as a pedestal, and added a milk glass vase filled with turquoise and silver ornaments.  I made these turquoise burlap trees a couple weeks ago.

My place setting is simple and uncluttered, only a silver charger and white plate, white napkins ( I made), and silver napkin rings, with a clear goblet.

 Simple and elegant.

I changed the napkin rings  when I found a bag of these candle rings at a consignment shop.  At least that's how the tag identified these.

I like the snow flake baubles on these, and decided they would look good as napkin rings.
Below, you can see them used as a candle ring.

It makes me happy to find items at different places that look like they were made for each other, like the toile and the rings, and the burlap trees.

What colors are you using this holiday season?
