English Country Cottage Series, Part II

Last time I showed you little areas in my house that are decorated in an English Country Cottage Style.  Today, I am showing you the living/family room.

Living Room:
First as you come in the door, you are met by a floral geo mesh wreath.

You will step into the foyer onto an English style area rug with roses, in a cameo in the center.

Lookeing straight ahead, you will see the fireplace, and the family room.

Items are layered on the mantel, with an old picture being framed with an old window frame from my Grandmother's home built in the mid-1800's.

Hydrangeas are on the hearth, the mantel, and in the picture on the mantel.

Below is a closeup of the mantel, and you can also see the entry table to the left with its yellow floral tablecloth.

Closeup of the bookcase, showing lots of florals, plates, old and new photos of family.

Full wall photo.  Here  you can tell the ceiling is a cathedral.  Also note a rug, matching that in the foyer.

This is a panoramic view of the right wall which is mostly french doors, with only an accent table between them.

This view was taken from behind the sofa which looks out toward the screened porch, and rolling pastures.

This shot shows the loveseat, and the recliner.

This view is from the hallway near the fireplace.

Next we will have a look at the Dining Room.
