Decorating the Front Porch for Memorial Day

Although Memorial Day isn't officially summer, that's when the pools in our neighborhood get busy, and yard work gets more regular.

I went to the basement to look over what I had and there was a huge red, white, blue one from last year, but I didn't like it.  I dug through my stash and found some thin white ribbon with glitter. So I took the whole wreath apart and re-made it.

It's made smaller than the one from last year, and I added some roses.

Last year's can be seen here.

This is a greeting card that I framed last year, so this time, I'm hanging it beside the entry door.

Summer holidays always make us think of family.

My little flower garden is doing great.  I'm going tomorrow and get a bird bath for it.  Have a safe and happy Memorial Day weekend!
